Susan G. Komen® Greater Kansas City is the local source for funding breast cancer detection, support and educational awareness in 17 Kansas & Missouri Counties surrounding Kansas City. Komen Kansas City is investing hundreds of thousands of dollars this year alone ($16.6 million since 1994) in education, diagnosis, treatment and support programs that serve uninsured or underinsured Greater Kansas City service area residents. In addition, Komen Kansas City committed an additional nearly $200,000 to global breast cancer research bringing their 24-year total investment in the fight to nearly $21 million.
